setup right now:

primary skill - fists of thunder with thunderclap rune (teleport to target)
secondary skill - wave of light with the first rune it gets
defensive - breath of heaven with rune that gives it increased healing power
techniques - sweeping wind (haven't unlocked runes for it yet)
focus - seven sided strike - 7 free hits that make you invulnerable while you're doing them.
mantra - retribution

passive: seize the intiative (100% of dex is armor), transcendence (when you use spirit you get life back)

fights are so easy. Press 2 to activate the sweeping wind, then just left click on monsters until everything is dead. as long as you're attacking, sweeping wind stays up doing 45% of your wep dmg per second to enemies around you.

if you get hurt, drop the bell on them to knock them back and heal yourself for a good chunk of life because of your passive.

With this setup I rarely lose any life in fights.

I've been using the exact setup, but for the primary I use sweeping strike with rune.

Party build, generally I just suck them in and start aoeing, while my wizard and WD thrown everything on them, have plnety of healing to withstand the beating, and then charge for sniping ranged guys, works pretty fine so far, but still low lvl so hard to say

fail link is fail..

Yeah don't know why, so I will just write.
Now I'm lvl 27 my build is:
Deadly Reach - Piercing Trident
Lashing Tail Kick - Vulture Claw Kick
Bliding Flash - Self Reflection
Dashing Strike - Flying Side Kick
Cyclone Strike - Implosion
Mantra of Evasion - Hard Target

Passives: Seize the Initiative + Transcendence.

This build is more single player or 2 player games. I swap wind for dashing strike because of the spirit cost, killing things with Lashing Tail Kick is faster than waiting for Wind.
Equip you should focus on mass dex, damage and vitality. You don't really need life leach, transcendence do a great job (at least in normal games).
And I do a different build for bosses, very similar with everyone is doing, but I use Mystic Ally.
