arachna, pebb, and tundra will do well against him, ramp does fine too since he can easily gank other lanes earlier and faster than MK.

arach and pebb really rape him 1vs1 if you play well. at level 4 pebb combo > MK, and arach can just constantly keep MK away from creeps IF (and that's a big if) the player is good enough to play the lane well and know when to go for harass, when to deny, when to ck, and how to position.

in general though the counter to MK isn't a single hero (because s2 designed MK and its still OP as fuck in general), but to get a large AoE lineup / push team with heals. He can't do shit against early push and gets raped in teamfights by AoE and heals.
