So I just installed winGW and its GREAT, now I need to find a good Text Editor for windows.

for normal text editing? how about notepad? vi?

I didnt think notepad had a line search feature, but I realized that you first had to turn off word Wrap lol,
So i guess it'll work for me

wordwrap is a little buggy on notepad. if you turn it on and insert/remove text a lot, you'll notice some weird behavior

you can use most of your favourite unix editors either alone or via cygwin

gvim for windows if you like vi commands. else you take notepad++

This, Notepad++ is my favorite.

look up "Sublime Text", very sweet editor.
