I'm just trying to understand how you "teach" intelligent design.
"God made everything, next lesson"

...the most likely way to teach it is that a Creator set everything in motion .

I'm for it, but I don't see how it helps with the curriculum. They are teaching it, not preaching it.

...what followed was our scientific explanation so yes , it's as scientific as what we teach now . Proposing God as the source does not mean the following processes can not be studied scientifically .

...I don't see anyone proposing that Christianity will be taught . Islam surely teaches that a Creator is responsible as did the Mayans and the Native Americans and the Jews and so forth and so on etc..

Yes it does. The first question in any scientific discussion is "How do you support your theory?" There is absolutely zero evidence--and no possible evidence available to find short of God announcing it himself--that God created the universe. If we teach our kids anything about the scientific method, the only possible scientific response to "God created the universe" is "show me some evidence or shut up."

...okay , then since we can't explain where the original singularity came from we might as well abandon the study of the universe .
