Read the email that they sent to you after you registered.

They should send you a pre-purchase box. This has the code that you can register with.
I'm not too sure how it works in your country, but I'm quite sure you'll have to receive the actual copy of the game around the release.
The actual copy of the game will have a new code, which you can use to upgrade your pre-purchase account. You will have access to the game till 5 days after release. So if there's some delay in the shipping you still have ~ 8 days total to receive it.

This isn't the same in every country (main difference eu : us). The European countries only have to activate the pre-purchase code for full unlimited access to the game.

Just make sure to check up on your e-mail for further instructions. Currently the support team can not help you with anything besides that really.

It's not like there is any benefit to pre-purchasing on the first day.

Just to make sure there's no confusion: The pre-purchase program will begin on April 10th. If you pre-purchase the game in full starting on that date, you'll have guaranteed access to all Beta Weekend Events, three-day Headstart Access to the final game, and the Hero's Band digital item designed to enhance your gameplay experience. *A pre-order is not the same thing as a pre-purchase.* A pre-purchase beginning April 10th is the only way to receive the items and access listed above

Meaning ONLY Anet will grat you all of this. If you buy via Amazon or others you won't get the early access and other shit cuz its preorder not prepurchase.

It's like saying you precum or you came early. In this case Anet wants you to come early.
