You are not stupid , the mind corrects basic errors quite frequently.

As for the finished I agree with you but I am sort of at a loss as to how to correct it .

Edit: I need to start doing tutorials at some point.

After browsing through these 9 pages I say most of em are decent, but looks unfinnished.
Some of them look lq while some of them have no blending at all.
Looks like you throw a bunch of stuff in there and leave it at that.

Tho, this one is the best by far:

Also, try to stick at one style at the time.

Lol I got in trouble for doing the same thing over and over again .

And really that is the one you like? It is one of my least favourites.
