I know very few of you know me around here but I would love to improve on making sigs so I though why not post a CnC thread because I don't really know where else to ask for help.

If you have any questions good tutorials to follow etc please let me know and I will do my best to make them.

So something I have been working on and am a bit stuck:

I was going for a comic book theme sig so tried to give it that feeling.

I really feel it is missing something (other then typo, my worst enemy) If anyone has any tips tricks etc would be greatly appreciated.

If just a pile of shit please let me know that too .

Dubble focal = no no.

This one has nice depth, but the lighting is off based on your light source.

Yeah I see what you mean it should be on the other side of his face as it is now towards the shadows on the right side of his face .

Another attempt at something :

I am sorry if I am being annoying I am just trying to get a better feel for making sigs as I have only been doing it for 2 months .

double focal's are possible. You just have to have a dominate focal. I would stay away from this until your a little more experienced
your getting the hang of it, but the stuff thus far is pretty chaotic, just to much going on.

So what would be a good way to rectify this?

just less stuff, with better placement
medium purple on lighten helps blend things together, might help a little bit.

Does anyone have a good tut I could try out or even a psd to follow so I can better gage how I make mistakes?
