Out of sheer curiosity what would your favorite pure light, or at least dominate light hybrid sorc be Zappy?
200 fcr as the "pure" caster centric light.It's a great rusher too.
My fav mfer sorc is tals fireball/nova with infinn merc.

My old 200 fcr sorc was one of my favorite caster sorcs of all time. She was an amazing rusher, baal tele'r and fabulous in my smaller games..
The trick is getting enough damage so you can force monsters into fhr recovery. This allowed her to play super aggressively and just telestomp right into packs. She melted bosses with charged bolt. All in all , an excellent char. Everyone should try out a 200 at least once in their d2 careers.

With the plus gear on, you got a 2X something firewall, which was great for frying souls and not being 100% reliant on the merc. What I really liked about this was the long timer.

bo while standing there, then put Battlecry on my right click with the cta switch.
upon entering WOldstone chamber
tele stomp Baal and lay down a firewall , hit "w" and cast battlecry and hit "w" again. Static like mad until he's at 50% life. At this point start spamming Charged bolt. A few seconds later, collect your loot and move on.
Avgeraged 3 and half min baal runs. She was FAST!
Nova pwned the fodder monsters , and charged bolt squished bosses.
Iirc she had 2200 life and 2400 mana with max res in hell. Nova was around roughly 2800 and charged bolt was ~700 per bolt.
After you have a 7fpa casting sorc, everything else seems so slow.
if kill monsters before 1-2second delayed conviction starts work.
Thats a good point and easy to overlook.
