I'm not saying it's impossible for their to be a part for a 400 million year old spaceship, but if there is, it's certainly not going to look like that.

I don't get how that is a mechanical device...the round shaped things do look like some gears of some sort but then again it does just look like a bunch of really old life forms put together...maybe even some mushrooms or shellfish.
