I've talked about this for a very long time now with friends while we do runs, and I dont recall seeing a suggestion about it :unsure:

Idea is, many people use Heavy Weapons, wich have a delay in actions. Equal to half the actions of regular weapons.
My idea would be, if a Heavy Weapon 1 shot kills a monster (crit or not, abilities dont count) the delay should be removed for the next attack. Pretty simple, might be hard to code into the game, but anything is possible these days ;)

I know theres a mod. Quick Draw, but this doesn't help attack faster, it works with a % to do extra attack(s) on the same monster that you're aiming on, without you clicking on it again.
Meaning, if you're using a Heavy and you have some Quick Draw, if you one shot a monster, the QD doesn't even have a chance to come into effect.

you hit a monster , one shot him , and is a normal weapon with 1 sec delay?

problem is every Heavy with more ee then 70 , is a one shot

it deonst matter , every high ee heavy would be overpowered

Understood correctly, but not every heavy one shots, not at all. We have so many objectives, ep's, no way that all 70 ee + heavies one shot everything.
It's not like I didn't calculate your opinion though before suggestion this whole thing ;)

Probably, but not everyone has good heavies, and many of the newcomers tend to see high dmg on them for 1 Fg and they buy that, then realize, it's far to slow.
Also, I've slashed with friends who have very nice heavies and it's not often enough that they 1 hit monsters. It does happen but not as frequent and one would think.

would be far too imbalanced.. you allrdy do not 50% of the actions in cata.. but more like 60-70% using heavy weapons compared to normal weapons.. makes heavy weapons with the same ee better than a normal weapon.
the quickdraw could somehow be changed as it is pretty silly like you statted.. it is only working properly if you attack the same monster (which only works if it is still alive after the first hit... :baby: )

True ofc, they all have double dmg.
I'm just trying to bring more interest into the whole game and so on ;)

Also, alot of weapons with 180 - 200 ee + also, 1 shot as often as a heavy.

If you try and calculate 2 equal EE wpns, one heavy one not. They regular will win all the time due to the 1 shot + speed factor. (this is for those pretty high ee wpns)

Am I wrong here? Can no one else see my point of view :wacko:

Agreed about the QD, a change here would really aid alot!

I for one thinks there needs to be a change with heavies
Something to atleast make them sought out or valueable rather then just in the eyes of every 1/30 slashers
