I cannot fucking believe he hit a guy with one strike away from a perfect game. When I saw it live I thought the ball just sailed by the hitter and catcher but then noticed Max's reaction and just thought to myself, "God damn that fucking sucks".

Two perfect games I've seen lost on shit plays now :/.

Watching the replays now, it's clear Tabata leans down and into it because it only hits his bulky elbow pad..but in an interview, Scherz said he would have done same thing.

yeah I wouldn't say he hit the batter id say the batter hit the ball.. with himself

I know the season was disappointing...but when you really look deep into it, it wasnt terrible...
They have a pythag of 85-72. So possibly a 90 win team to finish the season.
Some bad luck this year.
