Rodolfo is a beast, check the back take at 1:28. No idea how he moves like that as a heavyweight.

This series done by Jason Scully is my favorite, there is just so much info packed into these videos that it's hard not to take something away from them each time you watch.

Does using one with heavier resistance still increase strength? Or just pack on more endurance?

Its the same as lifting weights, if you wanna build both just 8-10 reps with a weight you can just barely handle.

ALL of the videos are like that, not just the no-gi ones haha. Most of the techniques, in most of the videos can be used in no-gi with slight adaptions, check them out!

I train with one of the best 110lbs female judoka under the age of 17, on the entire planet. Placed 9th in the world in August last year. Shes an absolute beast, elite level athlete with SERIOUS judo skills.

She hasn't legitimately tapped me in a while but she used to mangle me this time last year. I know the feeling dude, sucks. Technique > Strength!

I train under Baret Yoshida and Herman Terrado.

My experiences with them:

Don't roll with Baret..

ask your coaches / instructors if they mind you working out at another gym.

people can get pretty testy about loyalty and what not, even if your intention is good. best to just ask first!
