Westbrooks play style is the kind where he needs to have the ball 95% of the time. With bum as melo and pg taking the ball out of his hands it makes them even more dysfunctional. Surround westbrook with 4 above average roll players and i think they are alot better. give him a sniper, couple that can play defense, and steven adams in the paint.
Pg no, Melo yes. The thunder with Westbrook, Roberson, pg, Adams, and grant/Patterson was our best lineup in terms of both offensive and defensive efficiency. With Roberson out and having to fill that void with Felton, Ferguson, and Brewer, there just isn’t a proper way to get 5 guys who mesh onto the court. Brewer has been great and should start over Carmelo, but then the lineup is too small. Billy Donovan has to figure something out with these lineups.
