Quick Guide from the old days as Ryu and Naito:

1.Open Photoshop, very easy to do, but sometimes people mess up. Instead they open gimp, no problem happens to the best of us.

2. Add bunch of random stuff with colors that compliment each other. *Important* Even tho i say "random" i dont mean randomly place objects on the canvas and expect the composition to come out nicely. Try to visualize your composition before hand, or stumble onto it by accident.

3.Find your render and start clip masking some mellow colors over it to compliment the overall feeling of the tag.

4. Add brush effects, C4D effects whatever you feel will fit the tag. Objects are welcomed as well, feel free to go wild; however do not steal other peoples works and use them as textures.

5. Add splatter brushes, and clip mask your current tag. To do this just create a new layer, afterwords press "ctrl+alt+shift+e" to copy the current tag onto the new layer we created. The next step is to clip mask it, drag this layer on top of the splatter brush you have used and press "ctrl+alt+g."

6. Towards the end of your tag, repeat to copy your current tag to a new layer. Sharpen a bit (not too much) and leave some room for the next step.

7. Add a texture clean it and sharpen it to a maximum quality.
