Retro lancer is actually incredibly good and only a scrub would use sawed-off in any circumstances.

It's not the Sawed off that's the problem. It's the type of gameplay that it promotes. Sitting behind walls and waiting for people to walk by is the bitch tactic that is becoming more and more popular due to the Sawed off's existence. Let's be honest, the Retro Lancer is the real problem in this game.

Id put stopping power as the number one problem in gears 3 atm and than "Getting updated" (both people dieing) Id rather just have the better connection person live, both people dieing in just terrible.

Retro is highly effective at close range and it's also pretty effective from further away if fired in very short bursts and you don't suck at aiming.

Shotguns use shells not bullets, And the Sawed-off technically has 2 shells in the barrels not one. Just so you know.
