Today was the first instance where I had serious doubts about their chances to win the World Series this year. On the one hand, I'm looking at the pitchers who are giving up runs and they are relievers that likely won't be pitching in the playoffs, which is fine, but on the other hand the offense has completely fucking evaporated and the starters are all streaky. Either they'll have good games and they'll do well or get blown the fuck up by either Arizona or Colorado in a short series.
Right now it seems obvious that Arizona might be the dark horse to run the entire thing, their offense is phenomenal even without their best hitter, their starters are locked in and they have great relievers at the back of their pen. I don't know how much I trust Rodney in the playoffs if it came down to him but if LA's offense doesn't have a resurgence they'll lose in 4 to either of the wild card teams.
