They did not show the replay, but Fedun is seriously hurt. Both raced for the puck on the icing touch up

They're saying Fedun has the same type of break that Foster had. Will be a LONG recovery

nothing wrong there imo. lost his balance and nystrom didn't touch him. was going for the puck with a damn hockey stick = illegal?

yeah, they did not show a replay of the hit during the game. His stick got stuck in the holder of Fedun's skate. So it was tripping (which the ref indicated). After they saw how bad the injury was Nystrom got a boarding major + game misconduct. I don't think he'll be suspended

he gonna be poster child for no touch icing

this is chasin puck for icing and nystrom hot stick in his legs

same thing happened to curtis foster who PLAYED for the wild when it happened to him.
