I really hope avs trade #4 pick and Duchene for a good dman ++ or do fucking something decent on the trade market. I doubt sakic has another summer if he continues the way he so far.

I liked Roy as coach, I think Sakic should have been gotten rid of before him I thought he had big balls. Plus I heard he wanted control over drafting players and Sakic was not having it. I dunno all I know is I miss Roy as goalie lol

Beauchemin buyout was inevitable. Glad it happened tho. Now id like to see comeau gone is a must . Soderberg and colborne of sakic can squeeze them in another trade. Resign andrghetto grigo and neito. Id be okay with trading Duchene for dman and Barrie or EJ(unlikely) for a forward. I'm not quite sure who we are going to lose. Or who sakic will protect. He's gotta protect Pickard right?

So avs pretty much the only team to not do anything to improve so far? Definitely in the central. Still only 3 defensemen under contract with rumors about zadarov leaving for khl are going around also. Yakapov is our saving grace? Lol. Duchene could get traded at any point but really tho, the longer the wait is. I think most teams will move on. I dont think they will do as bad as last year. No way they could. But man is this going to be a shit show

at least next year draft is very deep i think the top 5 was like franchise players potential?
so even if avs get robbed again, they'll still come out with a very good prospect.

Dahlin is apparently the next "EK" but then supposively more potential cuz he's 16/17 dominating men's league like kids league. Also skates/passes/defensively etc.etc. much better than EK did at the same age.
then there's Svechnikov ,markley, hughes, veleno, brady tkachuk (brother of matt, similar to matt playstyle) but he looks more like eichel's bro. So he has the potential of being a gfg player while being GM. He can replace sakic and become avs saving grace
