I am experiencing some problems with colors inside diablo II when I play Diablo II LoD in full screen mod, on my laptop with windows 7.
When windowed-mode I do not experience these problems.

What happen is that when I run diablo II, colors in starting menu are messed up already.
After that when I make a game in SP or on battle.net, colors usually work fine. Until I alt-tab out of the game to any other process. If I tab back to diablo II again colors are messed up. U can barely see anything inside and the colors are bugged like rainbow bugging I guess... this mess up in colors also appear in channels on battle.net and on character selection screen.
I can only solve it by save+exit and enter a game again. But as soon as I alt+tab games are messed up.
OR as I just tried; shutting down process "explorer.exe" and tab back, then it works again! But It's kind of annoying for obvious reasons, and makes alt tabbing / jsp browsing etc alot harder then with explorer running.

I've tried this all to solve:
I've set compatibility to "Windows XP service pack 2"
Running as administrator.
Use Directdraw and Direct3d
use 256 colors

Im kind of out of ideas here. what else can I do?

Windows 7 and Diablo II always seem to have compatibility issues and it looks like you've tried most of the common fixes.

When you alt + tab and the colors are messed, have you tried alt + tab out again? If so, are they still messed after repeating it?

yeah doesnt help even if I repeat :/.

Drivers are also updated, and the Graphic card is integrated I think: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470

It does help so that colors arent bugged in game, but only until I alt+tab then its fucked.

press "win" then not alt+tab xD
well no problems here even when i check jsp meanwhile etc...
