Would you be able to hear and distinguish between balanced and unbalanced audio? Do you have any sources that are balanced. I'm guessing you will be using FLAC files as your source.

From my understanding of balanced audio cables, they are used to prevent loss when using long cables as they protect against EMI. I'm guessing you won't be using long cables or dealing with the issue of EMI.

Though if you want to use them just for fun let me know what you find.

It's a little more than that, It's a complete seperation of left & right channels, So there's absolutely no cross talk, There's also an increase in output power.


And idk, Never heard a balanced setup before. The jotunheim comes with a balanced dac (+$100)

So yea, I'll have a fully balanced setup.
