I personally wouldn't spend $1100 on headphones. But I'm not going to rag on someone who chooses to do so. You're the one who's triggered about other people's spending practices.

Says the one who is triggered over someone else being triggered over someone else's spending practices.

Just to let you know, I'm 10 steps ahead of you, and always will be

I do love me some k/q 701's

I also have a pair of 2.0's

But i pretty much never use them, Unless I watch a movie or hulu/netflix while laying down. Which is rare now. Barely watch any shows anymore.

I use my speakers more than my cans now. These are some old Logitech speakers I dug out of a box of other old pc parts in a garage.

1) he said money pit, as in you must spend money... while spending lesser amounts is still spending

2) he said if you dont enjoy something then get something else you might enjoy, nothing wrong with that. yea its subjective... and?

you seem to be arguing without an actual point here?

John's mom's nickname back in highschool was money-pit.

You are missing the point. He's saying everything is a money pit, when it's not. It's subjective. If you buy $1100 headphones then yes that's a money pit. If you spend $150 on a pair, that will last you just as long as the $1100 version, that's not a money pit. That's being smart with your money. Very different

So you would buy Jiangnan TT that costs 2.5k$ over Toyota Corolla that costs 18.5k$ as it is smarter to buy cheapest available. Perhaps every one don't want to go with cheapest option and wants better performance?

Everything is a money pit

If you aren't enjoying it move on to something else simple as that

yup i found a different hobby that i enjoy
it's also a money pit
but at least im getting my money's worth (this is subjective)

Which ones are those?

What's your setup?

HD800S.

Headphones: HD800S, HD650, DT150 and Porta Pro
Amplifier: Cavalli Liquid Carbon
DAC: Schiit Gungnir Multibit

I'm looking for another amplifier but I'm not in a rush though. How about you?

Has nothing to do with intelligence, has to do with Better performance which is subjective but still up to the buyer

Anyone that has ears for details in sound can tell you 150 spent on cheaper headphones was wasted money too

You lack the capacity to be any steps ahead of me. But keep worrying about what Rikuo spends his money on. I'm sure that will help you sleep at night.
