'Hello community. After getting my old topics bumped in the middle of the night and waking up with a full pm inbox I got the idea about being able to lock your own topic. I.e prevent anyone from posting in your topic.

This is sort of what I was thinking. Nothing is absolute though.

( I do suck at photoshop, don't tease me )


Pros:
The ability to lock your own thread eliminates the issue many traders have with people bumping really old topics.
Much less work for mods. Now I have to pm a mod every time I want my topic closed.

Cons:
I can't figure out any cons.
I can't see how this could be abused either, seeing as you're just closing your OWN topic.

Some might think this would benefit scammers in some way. But seeing as you can still find a topic even after it's been closed, all the proof is still there.
