handicaps make it so i can go out and play with any level player and whoever has the best day wins (even though when i play the old guys at my course ill shoot the lowest round 99% of the time)


someone who's handicap is too high for their actual scoring ability is a sandbagger (very offensive term in golf world)

sandbagger lol great word for the golf dictionary!

if you golf at a country club, these guys are the easiest to spot! just look at the top of the leader board for every handicapped event, and if someones name is always their, then they sandbag!
