yeah his intelligence is great, his positioning is good and he makes intelligent runs. his issues lie with individual creation and his first touches, which for most Man United of the years and especially Mourinho strikers is necessary.

He’s not going to do what prime Rooney or 12/13 RvP did unless he improves that but he shouldnt be expected to with the attacking talent United have. Rooney literally had to score all the goals for 2/3 seasons straight and RvP had Rooney playing CAM to make way for his immense goal scoring form that year.

also drifts out of matches when the midfield fails to connect with the attack - Pogba is critical for this.
