Good guide.
You could make it cheaper though.
As Aneas said, 4*p.Diamond + Xres pala shield works just fine.
Guillaume's face, Highlord and Goblin's (not really expensive I know) are not mandatory.
They're a huge boost for killing speed, but you can do well without them.
All you need is max res under Meph's conviction (use 1 pt salvation here to cover his -125%, you dont need fanatism unless you're in a hurry),
some CB (for massive damages), OW to prevent regeneration, and life tap to stay alive.
Life tap wand can be easily shopped.
Black (40%CB, 15ias) is an excellent choice but needs a Io rune.
Here some other weapons that can be used, and found in normal games :
The Gnasher (20%CB, 50%OW) - soc shael
Crushflange (33%CB, extra 50%fire res) - soc shael
Knell striker (25%CB, extra 20%fire res, poison res) - soc shael
Rixot's Keen (25%CB) - soc shael
Blood belt (Tal, p.ruby, jewel + Magic belt) provides 5+% OW (enough in my opinion) if you cannot find any other source of OW. Use your first craft and you'll be fine.
Cannot be frozen, if you cant find any Raven, is given by Rhyme runeword (2 soc pala shield + Shael + Eth), with a helpfull +25@res and block.
At this point, all you may still need is strong res. And some DTGM can be usefull against Baal.
Ring(s) : what you can find. Look for res.
Amulet : what you can find. Look for res. Nokozan, Mahim-Oak, Saracen are all good. Rising sun makes you immortal.
Boots : what you can find. Look for res.
Gloves : what you can find. Look for ias. Bloodfist, of course, are damn good !
Helm : plain 3 soc with Ith + Ort + Ort/Ral
Body : plain 4 soc with Orts, Rals, Tals or Thuls according to what you miss. If you're ok with res, Twitchroe is nice. If you can afford a Lem, Treachery of course.
Death Gloves + Belt provides : 30ias / CBF / 15@res + 50%pr + 75%RPL. But then you'll need a source of OW.
Rattlecage gives 25%CB, Boneflesh has 25%OW. You can also use one of them and change your other gear accordingly (like Boneflesh + Death belt/gloves + 4X pala shield 4*p.dia).
Despite what many people seem to believe, a smiter can drop Torch with very low gear and very few skill points/levels.
