But on closer listen it is pretty dreamy in places, if that's trance music for you then go for it

yeah, i dont find your music very "trancey". Can i say it physically makes me ill? There only 3 types of music as far as i see - bad, accessible, or great. Everything else boils down to personal taste and not everyone has the same opinion or judgement.

i think ambient idm is Trance, I think your classification for music is -------------->||<-------------------, Like is punk rock, still Rock n Roll? Hasn't R&R changed massively in 50 years - do you think each year should be classified into the 100s of styles?
You probably think there should be 80000 different threads for only an exact style according to you. Are like one one those guys who gets mad if a green pea contaminates the mashed potatoes on your plate?

^This is like the only thread named after one specific genre, yes they change over time and have influences but it's still well defined. If you take anything that's related then any music can be posted anywhere and we can't have any classification.
