Yep, and I pretty much said that in my OP. An FPS reading of 500-600 in game means there should be no way for anything to be memory intensive enough to give me screen lag because there is no way I will drop below 25 (as I already said in OP).

I would try to limit the framerate to less than 100. Does the freezing occur when you play fullscreen?
