Neither. Matt Thomas has zero NBA skills besides his shooting. Seemed like anytime he put the ball on the floor in summer league it lead to a turnover. He's also AWFUL on defense. There's about 20 Matt Thomas' in the G League.



Yeah, I'll take a huge pass on Vander Blue.

1. He is extremely redundant with Jordan Clarkson.
2. He can't run an offense.
3. He is limited to only defending PG's and he's not very good at it.
4. All the shots he gets at the rim in summer league would get swatted in the NBA. There's a reason this guy has never gotten an extended look in the NBA despite gaudy G-League numbers.

Give me Ian Clark or Deron Williams for that backup PG spot and I'm extremely happy with our off-season(despite losing D'Lo who I was extremely high on).



I think Randle is much more likely to be out than Larry. The front office is putting a huge priority on cap space and Randle is a pending RFA. He's going to have a pretty large cap hold going into next off-season so he might end up being the casualty if the team is able to lure two max free agents.

I wouldn't be surprised if Randle plays half the season with Lonzo and puts up some monster numbers then the front office tries to sell high and package him in a deal to offload Deng's contract.

I'm fine with getting rid of Randle if it means TWO max guys. But if we can't get that, I'd love to keep Randle

I was listening to 710 ESPN LA this afternoon and John Ireland said that Randle has been shooting 1,000 3-pointers every day. 500 in the morning and 500 in the evening. He said at one time he counted him making 23 of 25.

Obviously practice setting etc. but a respectable jump shot would boost his ceiling enormously.

Randle better be working his ass off because Kuzma is right behind him waiting to be a solid role player. I like Randle but he hasn't shown us a 3pt shot yet, which is a must in the NBA today.

We need a vet PG and we will be set for this season.

So everyone knows our plans with this coming offf season, we have enough cap space to get 2max free agents, if we unload Dengs contract, which will be easy if we package Randle.

If we end up failing getting 2 max FAs would you guys be alright with resigning Lopez and Pope to multi year deals? I know it's hard to say because we don't know how they will play together this year but what do you guys think.

I don't know randle is enough for another team to take on that horrible deng contract.
