Whiteside brings more rim protection and maybe a bit more offense.

Biyombo gives your better perimeter defense. The guy was like glue playing against LeBron. Biyombo had 1.6 blocks coming off the bench playing about 20 minutes per game. He is more athletics and more suited to D small ball lineups.

They both give you different aspect of defense but they both bring good Defense.
