So Minny is 100% getting Towns.
For our pick, it's either Russell, Okafor or the Euro? Out of those, I actually want Okafor. We'd be set up front with Randle and Okafor playing 4 and 5.
Okafor is more of a post player than Randle, so it'll be good.

that's actually what I was hoping for.

Dear lord no.

Trade for Minnesotas pick or trade down a spot or two and take russell / mudiay.

Okafor is a joke imo. Can't shoot, doesn't play defense, seems rather unathletic. With the way the NBA is going to a space and pace game... How does he possibly fit?

We see so many guards in todays game, they're a dime a dozen. Bigs on the other hand are rare. The best counter to teams going small is being able to go big. Okafor has a nice set of post moves and we mustn't forget he was the projected first pick for like two years in this class, prior to the KAT performance in the tournament.
Also, people shouldn't read too much into all these solo workouts. Everyone looks good in a solo workout.

I hate okafor.

The new NBA you need athletic big men. I don't think okafor is going to do well in the nba and I hope LA doesn't take him.

I think the new era of the NBA is how the warriors play... And for that u need athletic big men that can run the floor and shoot mid range but also post up and work down low. More importantly tho, you need a rim protector and okafor plays horrific defense.

KAT fits into the new nba very well. I can see him doing a decent job on guards when it gets switched in a pick n roll, running back on defense, and hitting shots when they're presented to him. Okafor I can't see doing any of those and he's a horrific free throw shooter. So if the lakers draft him get ready for his rookie year when teams are hack-a-okafor every game.

Warriors have big men that run the floor and shoot mid range? Green isn't a big, he's just playing the 4 or 5 because they run small lineups. He wouldn't be able to defend, say, Pau in the post, Bynum in the post (when he was good obviously). Okafor will be like that, and if you go big against a small team, you're gonna have a good day.
I mean, I would want KAT over Okafor obviously, but Okafor is my second guy because fuck guards.
