The Lakers making the playoffs in 2014/15 season is like having Knicks among playoffs teams --- unlikely to happen but in case it happens, nobody will backpedal.

The Lakers have lower chance too simply because of the conference they play in.

Honestly I don't think the chances for both teams making the playoffs aren't as shit as everyone is making it out to be.

I don't see the Lakers beating out Clippers, Pelicans, Grizzlies, Thunder, Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, Blazers or Warriors. Hell, even Rockets have higher chances I believe. Then you have Kings who (I think) could finally show some signs of life and the striking Nuggets... Although I don't see last 2 really making them.

First 9 teams I'd put above them and those are just from top of my head and they could put up a fight with the Nuggets/Kings and Rockets but that's about it.
