This is just an idea here, how about using Rogue (Fire) with Faith, Crown of thieves and wealth armor (just a thought, this is what i will be using with my gf barb)
Note: The only downside of the faith bow is the Summoning skele when she kills something (forgot name of skill, and the percentage chance).

Well about the faith merc, I dont think its really needed. I dont know how it works with ias on WW, im not a baba expert but I dont find myself in need of more ias

And I think the merc would die all the time because she has not much leech
edit: and poor res and def

The Faith is only for your Damage, the ias is only applied to the wielder.
Rogues do not enter the fray, but then if worried about the def/res, then use ebugged fort on here
the life steal from the Crown of Thieves will suffice.

For gf or mf, the pride polearm has +3 Freeze target, so he would be shattering the monsters more than usual.
But for pvm, pride with might merc is best i think for increasing your damage.

Edit* Only found out in December about the ias on faith when i was reading Fanatic Aura skill, the skill only helps team with damage, and the ias is only applied to the pally with the aura.

the ias is applied to any in the party who use phisical attacks, why do you think bowas use it on their mercs

Been looking at the guides and I like this one. It's not useless on its own and it still does its job very well

I also like versatility in my chars. Ive had sorcs and hammerdins for mf but they are boring. I want to make a PVM baba, who uses swords

Seems very nice. I like the idea of an barb wich can stand up against monsters on it's on and don't have to depend on the merc to kill everything.
Will try it out as early as tomorrow, huge creds to you
