Im working on an assignment for one of my college classes. I finished most of the assignment short of a small section I can't figure out.
I am applying a body tag to make all the links in the document open in a new window. After I applied the body tag the logo will not display. I have the thought path that I need to exclude some of the tags somehow and i remember doing this before but cannot get it to come to mind at this time.

The exact thing listed for me to do is. The links to the schools web sites to appear in a new tab or window. Because there are so many links on the page add a base element to the document header specifying that all links will open by default in a new browser or window or tab named "collegeWin"

add id names "private", "technical", and "public" to the three h2 headings that catergorize the list of schools.

Create hyperlinks from the entries in the category list at the top of the page to the three headings

for each of the hypertext links you marked set the link to open in the current browser window and not in the new browser window.

Quick update
When I use an absolute path it allows me to show the logo but when clicked it now opens in a new window. I need this to open in the same browser window without altering the base tags effect on the remaining links in the document; additionally there will be 3 id's added to the headers later which I need to open in the original browser as well without having the new window come up.

Cool rant bro.
Now let us know what you actually need help with without ranting about it with 4 sentences - Clear questions are pretty cool.
Oh and - [CODE] tags are pretty cool too.

I want to use the base tag in order to open a new window for each of the links which I achieved. The side affect of doing this has led to the logo(banner) being removed. I need a way to (exclude this logo and the 3 id's I will later name) from the base effects.

Yes, that would take 2 seconds to google, but obviously the amount of time needed to create this thread; 2 minutes? Probably more as you are you.

google "html a href tag no open new window" = success
