Definitely worth building that bar. Ur best bet to do it in park on a tree branch though.
PVC wOnt hold unless solid. Get a proper aluminum or iron bar. Or buy urself online that pullup bar that u can put

so a 2inch wide pvc pipe, is about 200 psi... so thats 200 pounds per square so.. hmm it can defintely hold my weight. i've seen people online build pull up bars with pvc, but i dont have the right pieces.

200 psi is a tensile strength...Not a shear strength.

Just use 2x4s or somthing of that nature. My bud and I built a pullup bar out of broken composite hockey sticks. Works fantastic

PVC will hold if it's the right schedule. Don't even bother arguing with me on this... I work with pvc quite often and am a pipe welder stupid mizure.

Depends how you built it too the longer the pvc the more chance it will bend and break.

get some 2 inch schedule 40 pipe or some iron rods. go tah home depot.
