Lost 15 of the last 16 games? This pitching is falling apart. I realize it's mostly new talent but the rotation is awful and the bullpen is atrocious. Only starter you can count on to keep you in the game in Shelby, and he hasn't won a game since like June? Despite his ~3.00 era during the stretch.
Them growing pains :\ Only thing now is to struggle through this season and hope for the best in the next 2 seasons or so.
I haven't watched a game in a week.
It fucking sucks, but it's better than watching a depressing game.
Hard to watch such abysmal play all around.
There's not much positives to this team and it makes me very weary about this "magical" resurgence we're supposed to have in 2017.
I'm not buying into the front office's plans.. as we can already see that their decisions so far have been awful.
We weren't pennant contenders before.. but we
were playoff contenders.
We could have won this division without the fire-sale.
Everyone put all their marbles into Nationals winning the WS, when that's appeared to be wrong.
Who knows how many other wrong choices have been made behind the scenes.
They lost a lot of fans when they sold everyone off.
There isn't a plethora of talent just waiting for 2017, we would still obviously have to make solid free-agent acquisitions.. which I think this team is incapable of doing (and Liberty Media or whoever won't spend for their fans)
