otherwise, you're getting way less damage than a Fathom and if you're es, believe me, you'd rather have 2k+ than 250mana more lol

For any Es sorc, 8k Damage is plenty.
The bonus's you receive from this orb > Fathom in everyway.

mana? if you're rich enough, you won't need 250mana from an orb if you get bmanas or an whole set of 20/17. Btw... 8k plenty?

I'm not sure if you're being serious,LOL 8k you'll get sorbed easily in pubs and destroyed in 4v4.

Probably because i want Max block, like any good es/blizzer would do.
any amount of life rep on es is important you could add another + 4 jewel to make it 8 along with Chains of honor and 2x 8-9 life rep rings youd reach over 30 life rep, since no blizz sorceress use Hoto.

No big difference between 8-10 Blizzard damage. Its just as easy to absorb 10k as it is 8k, if you didnt realize that,
Most people when they put on sorb, there sorbing enough to cancel out 13k+
