Give users the ability to close there own topics! Alot of the time you sell an item and people keep posting or pming. Easy solution would be to close the topic. I myself have found myself in many situations where I need a mod to close a topic. Double posting, wrong forum, typo, etc. Mods aren't supposed to close topics on request either. This is pretty simple and couldn't harm anything, just benefit!

Please explain your reasoning if you say no.

sometimes when spam gets out of control it would be nice to close a thread and have it done with (especially in trade forums)

I have suggested this, or even like the forum gold/PC thing have a "Closed" option just so people can see that you're no longer selling things. When I did play D2, it was annoying getting pms about stuff I stopped selling a week before. The mods just refused to close the thread -.-, told me to let it die.

It works on several other forums that I use, there are no problems, but then again they're way more strict. You actually get in trouble for breaking the rules :3
