How to restart IP When Realm Down:
First Method
Step 1: Go to Start.
Step 2: Click on 'Run'.
Step 3: Type in 'cmd' and press enter.
Step 4: Type in 'ipconfig /release'.
Step 5: Type in 'ipconfig /renew'.
Second Method
Leave this page up before you start these steps. Do it in a new window.
Step 1: 192.168.1.1.
Step 2: Log In.
Step 3: Click "Satus" tab.
Step 4: Click "DHCP Release" - turns off the internet temporarily.
Step 5: Unplug the power to the modem.
Step 6: Slick on the "Setup" tab.
Step 7: Click on the "MAC Address Clone" submenu at the top, beneath the other tabs.
Step 8: Click "Clone your PC's MAC" - this should populate the field with a series of characters.
Step 9: Change the last 3 pairs of numbers to any number between 0-9 or A-F (Capital).
Step 10: Save settings - this will initiate a router reset, with a countdown.
Step 11: Wait for the router reset, then plug your modem back in.
Step 12: Wait a minute for your router to recieve a new IP from your internet service provider, you can watch for this by clicking the "Status" tab.
Step 13: Play Diablo2.

E: maybe not the same as unable to connect, honestly can't remember haven't played d2 in years
