Andromeda pushed to Q1 2017.

Doesn't bode too well. Not surprising though when they laid off some key mass effect personnel. Especially the lead writer on the project.

I would guess that it's in some trouble but wouldn't imagine they would cancel it.

I never see first delays as a bad thing. Most games never are completed on their original schedule, and a significant minority get public delays. Andromeda never had a set release date either. A couple months delay (from Nov '16 to Feb-Mar '17) isn't an issue. Plus, they weren't layoffs. The writer left voluntarily and overall Bioware is an expanding studio. What work the writer did on Andromeda would have been mostly completed when they left.
