What I mean is, which class could theoretically be improved the farthest as the player increases his reaction time, decision making, and other skills? For example, not a big difference between a bad Ret Pally and a good one. Huge difference between a good Warrior and a bad one.

The difference in skill cap between Warrior and Ret Paladins are very close.
In any situation, any healer will have the highest skill cap.
From a season 8 standpoint, I'd say Discipline Priest.

Kind of an interesting question between expansions. You mentioned pve + pvp so does that mean overall or one for each? Though, most answers will be biased because people have pride when it comes to their "main" class I think that it's hard to say which requires the most skill. Since battlegrounds will be the focus of pvp and pve doesn't really matter "skill" wise it's hard to say which will take the most skill because people won't be farming HK's thus, creating strategy or "dream teams" for battlegrounds.

I would say that in pvp it is easy to be good mage but its very very hard to be EXELLENT mage. Also if u compare warlocks it requires tons of skill to micro pet well against certain combos in arena.

I'll agree with this now that the last patch came out. Mages got a fuck ton easier.

there is a very big difference between a bad player and a good one of any class any spec during almost any point of this game
even when ret and arcane where stupid in the wotlk patch, you could tell who knew what they where doing ontop of the over the top damage and the ones who
knew enough to simply spam 2 or 3 moves to kill people

as far as the class with the highest skill cap with the farther you are into being korean
mages i think most people will agree, i cant say much about healer what young had said but thats only because ive only a played a resto druid nothing higher than 2k

Mages pre 4.0
i just think the class has so many tools that utalized perfectly is unstopable
