it is What went wrong with down syndrome?

ok so i know what causes it. is that what they are saying? wtf do they mean what went wrong with it

its has to do with an extra chromosome. i dont remember which one it is

the 21 pair i know that but it is the question that is confuseing because it is what went wrong with it and that makes no since to me jw if everyone else thinks she means what caused

The question isn't asking the etiology of down syndrome

It's asking the specific chromosomal changes that occured (normal diploidal chromosome 21 --> trisomy 21)
