so what will pearce's role be on the orioles? will he play every day or most days, or is he gonna platoon just against lefties?

Against lefties, they'll probably play him in LF instead of Rickard, who is on the DL anyway right now (Kim will play vs righties)

But with how terrible Davis has been lately, he could play 1B also :/

I like how that go-ahead HR by Schoop came right after the ump completely fucked-over Davis on 3-straight terrible strike calls.

Hope Benny is ok though... :unsure:

Challenges and tons of hits are making this game take forever lol. It'd be a good game to cite for the anti-replay crowd to counter-argue the notion that replay makes the game shorter by eliminating manager arguments.

Now that Tillman is injured, I think our postseason hopes are pretty much over. Jones being hurt with a sore hamstring is just another nail in the coffin.

In retrospect, I think this team really overachieved with what they had. We went into the season with Tillman and Gausman as our only competent starters and somehow won as many games as we did with Ubaldo, Mike Wright, Gallardo, and some other scrubs starting games for us.
