This is specifically for the first post. Like being able to purchase an italic, bold, or red title, you could purchase a permanently editable first post for a long-term thread in which you want to edit the first post (post #1).

Said no, and only reason is because, next thing would be to extend from 61 to xx, people spamming your thread would be a constant problem for a long-term post.

Just my opinion.

61 only applies to trade threads. There are ALOT of other forums where this could be used. Health & Fitness for exemple.

There's a 30 minute timer on editing posts for your safety. This would make it much easier to scam people.

Simply disable it for trading sections then.

Trades are not allowed in the strategy & guide section, the health & fitness section, general discussion section, love line section, and so on. And of course, those are the sections where such a feature is needed.

The original post would be the only editable content. Anything after that would obviously stick to the 30 minute timer.

Not that I want to be rude or anything, but clearly you must be smart enough to see the benefits of this, so why be so blatently 1-sided? Seems like a common practice in the suggestion forums, a good idea is given and only negative comments come out.

Like Canadian_Man said, this is a useful feature for other forums, not trade forums. And EVEN if this was available in trade forums, it applies to the original post only.
