Snag some barrows neer seers bank for cheap because it was just found then re-sell an hour later for a 100k prophit. Prophit could be made on any item. 100% of any item in game could be profited off with patience.

Yeah. Some of the best items to merchant were the cheap ones, too. You could profit at least 10% on your cash pile with essence. Buy 100, sell 110.
Back then merchanting actually took a bit of effort if you wanted to make real profit. Had to have alot of patience, though.
