Yeah, I didn't know that Gene was still actively instructing, but after you posted this I did some refresh reading on his wiki. One of the quotes is as follows. "LeBell is associated with Gokor Chivichyan's Hayastan MMA Academy where he teaches MMA/grappling classes."
Yeah, they've been together for over 30 years. Gokor started training under Gene immediately after moving to America around 1980, and they've been close friends ever since.
Kind of off subject, did you read about Genes Pink Gi? Kinda funny.
