Does anyone know what the exact calculation of the death penalty is? As in how much exp do you lose and how much prof? I'm sure it scales with level, but was wondering if anyone knew the numbers or percentages.

10% of ur current values. + 2% for each pass on ur char

hm i remember someone asking for this before and someone posted each prof loss in % per class but i dont remember who had the "list"

Are these percentages for exp lost and prof lost as well?

I had the list, it is

alch= 33.33%
hunter= 25.00%
lock = 20.00%
ninja = 16.66%
monk = 14.28%
pally = 12.50%
sammy = 11.11%
feeder = 10.00%

this is prof point loss , not sure about exp i assume it would be the same.
if it's not the same feel free to correct me anyone

edit : just rechecked my book feeder is 10% not 11.11%

also formula is

100/(10-mq passes) will give you the %

When I died with my Alchemist, I found it was only about 18%.

it's 33.33 % of current points , not the "level total" so it could be mistaken that way
