Agreed. While he's definitely not at his best, he's creating chances and he's having some awful luck hitting the woodwork or facing great saves from goalkeepers. He needs to perform better, but he's trying and overall he's not doing as bad as his stats suggest.

Benzema on the other hand... invisible in 9/10 games. Today he scored, which is nice, but it was an unmissable goal after Cristiano hit the bar and he just had to push it to an empty net from half a meter away.

I think benzema is over tbh, he did score 3 goals in last 2 games but out of them 2 were unmissable goals.

Bale have crossed the line now being injured all the time.

Yeah. A striker is definitely needed, but idk if Zidane and Florentino will finally go for one. We also need a keeper indeed because Casilla isn't good enough and Keylor has become too injury prone unfortunately; we can't count on him being fit regularly anymore. And it's indeed even worse with Bale... the guy is made of glass and we can't rely on him anymore. He doesn't really have a backup since Lucas Vázquez has also taken a drop in form... which is understandable, after 2 years of trying his best and not getting any reward in form of play time or a transfer to progress in his career and hope for a ticket to the upcoming WC, that's got to wear him down mentally and make him lose the spark of confidence and motivation.

Not having Carvajal has also hurt. Achraf has been alrightish, but he just runs around like a headless chicken... he can surprise the opponent, but he can't cross at all and his defending needs a lot of improvement (although at least he can run back better than anyone else thanks to his physique).

e: and several players have dropped in form recently (Marcelo is a good example of this)... but I'm sure they will be back to their proper level soon.

I feel like it has occurred due to so much of rotation Zidane hardly plays the full main XI and the chemistry isnt the same now the way it was,
Rotation worked for Zidane but since the team is struggling i think he shouldn't rotate so much anymore.

Agreed on Achraf but he is just 18 hence not experienced at all.(i noticed the impact on return of Carvajal it is immense!)
Our Midfield is the only thing which is good right now.
Defend is okay aswell but we sure need a Goalkeeper now(hope we sign De Gea)
Maybe we should get two new wingers and let Ronaldo play as ST(he plays as ST now anyway he rarely goes full wing now)
