Starcraft 2 "king Of Jsp" Tournament - Topic

It is my pleasure to announce the Starcraft II "King of JSP" Tournament.

This will be a free 1v1 tournament with over 3,000 fg in prizes, with multiple brackets.

I am donating the first 3000 fg. Any additional donations will be added to the prize pool.

All prize fg will be held and distributed by our illustrious Trade Moderator and judge, Arx_X. Please send all donations to him with a note that says it's for the SC2 tournament.

Official rules for tournament play will be announced shortly, but for now I need everyone who wishes to enter the tournament to post here with their:

1. Battle net account name (the one from which you'll be competing) (you can pm me the .xxx code but post the rest)
2. realm (US or Euro - sorry to the one or two asia guys. You are welcome to participate if you can get on to euro or US server)
3. a screenshot of your 1v1 ranking page (to save thread real estate, don't use the image tags - i'll click on it to see it)

*No jsp users with a join date of 13 august, 2010 or later will be admitted to the tournament.*

The deadline for signing up is Thursday 19 August 10:00 a.m. Eastern U.S. time.

Brackets will be posted and round one play will start thursday night or friday, depending how long it takes me to set up the brackets.

I will post the detailed rules and procedures at that time.

some highlights:

-You can pick whatever race you want at the beginning of each game
-Best of three in all rounds until the semifinals (final four)
-Best of five in semis
-Best of seven in the finals (the last two players)
-The winner of the euro bracket will play the winner of the US bracket for the title of "King of JSP."
-The winner of each round will be responsible for sending me the replays of all the games, so figure out how to do that if you don't know already.
-# of rounds and bracket details will depend on the number of players, realms, and rankings.

I do not have any 1v1's played, but am a 2v2 diamond player. Don't do 1v1's on league yet for personal reasons. =P
