Ryan Taylor just took his place and is more valuable on offense as a weapon now too.

Anyway Tori Gurley is probably the replacement for Swain for WR. Gotta remember Swain wasn't very big but he was alright at special teams which I'll agree on you with that but it is a business.

I'm liking Ryan Taylor. Should be a great replacement for Swain. Just figured the more the merrier for good special teams guys. And I agree with Gurley he played on all special teams in college so I think he has the hand up on West. Though West is getting some looks at returner. Glad I'm not the guy having to make these decisions.

Cobb and Smithson are supposed to blow away Swain as far as ST goes. That and other than the Superbowl he had a problem with dropping passes.

I think he has like 6 receptions for his entire career. But that tends to happen when your the 5th Wr on your team. So I don't think there is a good sample size to determine if he has a problem with dropped passes. Also Cobb will only be a returner and I don't see Smithson making the team. Swain was on every ST unit and was a captain for the ST. Hopefully some of the rookies/UDFA will be able to pick up the slack that we lost in the ST from losing Hall/Swain.

I never saw this post, but how could you not see Shaky making the team? He was one of the most hyped up additions in camp this year alongside Cobb and So'oto.
