You're taking a shot in the dark either way. You could get a D&D nerd that sweet talked his way into the squad or you could get someone that ACTUALLY knows what he's talking about. I'd probably go with the geeks though because I think they require some sort of credentials. GL either way.

well seeing how they both charge 60$ labor +/- for other expenses to plug in 2 cables for a hard drive, i would say use none of them, they're both a ripoff

I actually work for EasyTech haha, and I'm also an ex. Geek Squad DA :P

Geek Squad requires Minimum certifications of A+ and/or MCSE, but alas, that means very little. I've met more idiots that had their certifications that dont know the first thing about hardware or software.

IMO EasyTech force doesnt have qualified technicians in ALL stores, most stores have techs, some dont - such as low volume stores.

EasyTech force is much cheaper than Best Buy as well.
